Jesus has arrived at the place in His life for which He came to earth – to go to the cross and die for our sins. Many times His enemies wanted to arrest and kill Him but were not able to because His time had not come. But now His time has come and He willingly walks into the net they have spread for Him. We see that He is in complete control of what is about to take place. No one took His life from Him. He laid it down in obedience to the Father and in love for us.
