In January 2002, pastors Ken and Marianne Legg, together with 18 other people pioneered New Beginnings Christian Church  at Tugun. In September 2008, they handed that church over to the Associate Pastor, Rob Stuttle and the following week, with 55 members from the Tugun church, planted the New Beginnings Christian Church at Reedy Creek.

Since then we have seen many lives transformed as we have proclaimed the glorious gospel of grace locally, nationally and internationally (e.g. in Africa, Indonesia etc).

An important part of our vision is to be a safe and accepting place for locals and visitors and to establish a firm foundation for their Christian faith. In Bible times ‘Cities of Refuge’ were sanctuaries where people found safety and were not defined by their past. In a similar way, we always want New Beginnings to be a ‘safe zone’, a place where people’s identity is not based upon their past failures or religious achievements but on the unsurpassable worth of God that is freely given to them in Christ. We are not interested in your past, but we are interested in your future.
